This is the founding partner of Five Tools Baseball Academy, LLC.
He has been involved with baseball, either as a player or coach, for most of the past forty years. In high school he participated in three sports: baseball, track and soccer. In college, however, academics held priority over sports so he continued playing only soccer. Ironically, the first job he had out of college was as the assistant General Manager of the Savannah Cardinals, then a minor league affiliate in the St. Louis Cardinals organization.
More recently, Coach Dunn has been extensively involved with the local youth baseball leagues, helping to teach his son and his teammates the intricacies of the game. Coaching youth-level these past years has rekindled his passion for baseball; this facility was built as a consequence. He has both refined his instructional techniques and adapted his coaching philosophy to better suit teaching our youth this great game.
Coach Dunn instructs all aspects of the game, but his specialty is pitching. He uses a simple, integrated approach:
"Simply put, you train your body to do what you want it to do, and train your mind to stay out of the way."
